"Baahubali: The Beginning" and "Baahubali: The Conclusion" are a two-part Indian epic fantasy film series directed by S.S. Rajamouli. The film begins with the introduction of Sivagami, the queen of Mahishmati, who carries a baby boy floating in a river. She adopts the child and names him Shivudu, who grows up to be a fearless and adventurous young man. One day, while climbing a waterfall, he sees a mysterious woman named Avanthika and falls in love with her. She is a member of a rebel group fighting against the tyrannical rule of King Bhallaladeva.
Driven by curiosity and the desire to find his true identity, Shivudu follows Avanthika to the rebel camp. There, he learns about his past and discovers that he is the son of Amarendra Baahubali and Devasena, a warrior princess from the neighboring kingdom of Kuntala. He also discovers that his father was betrayed and killed by his own brother, Bhallaladeva, who usurped the throne.
Motivated to seek justice for his family and save his mother, Shivudu decides to avenge his father's death and reclaim the kingdom of Mahishmati. With the help of Kattappa, a loyal warrior who served Amarendra Baahubali, Shivudu trains to become a mighty warrior himself. He eventually reveals his true identity as Mahendra Baahubali, the son of Amarendra Baahubali.
The first film concludes with a grand battle between Bhallaladeva's forces and Mahendra Baahubali's army. Mahendra Baahubali defeats Bhallaladeva, avenges his father's death, and becomes the rightful ruler of Mahishmati.
The second film, "Baahubali: The Conclusion," delves into the backstory of Amarendra Baahubali and his journey as the crown prince of Mahishmati. It explores his love story with Devasena and the political conspiracies that led to his downfall.
The film reveals that Bhallaladeva's mother, Sivagami, was manipulated by his loyal minister, Bijjaladeva, who wanted his own son to be the king. The deceitful Bijjaladeva plots to create a rift between Sivagami and Amarendra Baahubali, which ultimately leads to Amarendra's unjust death at the hands of Kattappa.
In the present timeline, Mahendra Baahubali learns about his father's tragic fate and confronts Kattappa, who confesses that he killed Amarendra Baahubali under the orders of the scheming Bijjaladeva. Together, Mahendra Baahubali and Kattappa unite with the rebel forces and wage a war against Bhallaladeva's oppressive regime.

The film culminates in an epic battle where Mahendra Baahubali, along with his love interest Avanthika and the rebel army, fights against Bhallaladeva's formidable forces. Eventually, Mahendra Baahubali emerges victorious, reunites with his mother Devasena
